Benign Esophageal stricture caused by ingestion of lye is not rare in Korea. 2 cases of the Esophageal stricture due to lye was treated with extrapleural, retrosternal esophagogastrostomy in Capital Armed Forces General Hospital Annex was presented with literatures reviewed.
